Phoenix Adult Dating Scene Ranked First for Single Women

When Rent.com released its 2011 rankings of the top ten cities for single women, they only had two words to describe the Phoenix adult dating scene: “exhilarating” and “posh.” In fact, the “posh” Phoenix adult dating scene, the website has found out, earned the city the top rank on the list.

Apparently, Rent.com has never set foot on west of Phoenix’s Central Avenue. Here is Rent.com’s evaluation of the Phoenix adult dating scene: “Phoenix, Arizona tops the list for single ladies looking for love with a high single male-to-female ratio, and low cost of living. Add in plenty of sunshine and warm-weather activities, and your dating life is already looking up! Whether you’re climbing the iconic Camelback Mountain or enjoying a legendary martini at Durant’s Fine Foods, Phoenix’s dating scene is both exhilarating and posh.” Adding to this achievement, Phoenix has also earned high marks last year from another ranking of cities friendly to single ladies.

A website focused on the whole Sex and the City demographic called Single Minded Women ranked Phoenix sixth on their top ten cities for single women in May of 2011.

The list was determined by looking at several variables, including cost of living, employment opportunities, access to travel, social opportunities, entertainment opportunities, singles population, the ratio of men versus women, and other lifestyle factors.

According to the website, there is almost an equal ratio of men to women in the Phoenix area, and approximately 30 percent of the guys in town are single.

Also making the Rent.com list in the number two spot is Seattle, with Austin, Texas; Denver, Colorado; and Washington, D.C. rounding up the top five.
